Typical Uses

Clients use their cell phones to text your businesses email account. Any cell phone that can text will work. The last four digits of each client's number appears on the screen. Touching a number sends an 'order is ready' text to that client.. A long touch allows selection of one of several preconfigured messages, or composing a message to send. Long touching a number allows the complete phone number to be viewed in order to call the client.

Manual entry is available to enter a client's name or a number. When a manually entered name is touched a message pops up  reminding staff to notify the client.

Client's numbers are displayed in the order they arrive. Messages and information displayed when a text message arrives are easily configurable to suit any kind of business. Below are some examples.

Food Service Within a Store or Shopping Center

Clients text the food service counter when placing a meal order. The screen shows the last four digits of all clients who have texted and are waiting. Clients are free to shop or do other things while their meal is being prepared. As orders become ready a staff member touches the client's number on the screen causing an order-ready text to be sent to the client. The client’s number turns red to signify that they were notified. Touching a red number when an order is picked up causes that number to be removed.

Restaurants

Clients text the number of people in their party when they arrive. The last four digits of their number and the size of their party are displayed on the TextMe screen. When seating is available, a staff person touches the client's number and a text notification is sent.  The number turns from green to red indicating that the notification was sent. When the party is seated, your staff touches the red number and it disappears.

Auto Repair Shops

Clients text their license plate number as they check in. License numbers appear on the shop's screen. When a repair is completed, the corresponding license is tapped causing a text notification to be sent to the client. If a problem arises the shop can long-click the client's license number and will get a menu allowing selection of a preconfigured message, composing a text message or viewing the client's phone number to make a call.

Pharmacies

Clients text the pharmacy when they drop off a prescription. The customer is then free to shop and do other things while their order is being prepared. The last four digits of client’s numbers are displayed in green on the TextMe screen. When an order is ready, a staff person touches the client's number and a text notification is sent to that client. The number turns from green to red indicating that they were texted. Staff touches the red number when the order is picked up and the number disappears.

Hospitals

Guests awaiting notification text the department's TextMe email and receive a text confirmation. Department staff can touch a number to notify persons waiting  or can long-click to select a preconfigured message, compose a text message or view the phone number to make a call.
